We finish dinner and we look up and the parents are gone and the child's still sitting there And I tell Jose, like, we do this sometimes. Like if we see like a woman who's kind of uncomfortable or something like that, I'll be like, can we just stay here for a minute to make sure like things are cool. And so I said that to Jose, like, can we just stay here for a minute? And he was like, yeah. And the parents like 10 minutes come by, 15 minutes come by, they never come back. And so I'm like, what the heck? So I go up to this little boy and I'm like, where's your mom and dad? Like I'm like asking him all these questions and he doesn't know. And so then, I get like the manager, they don't know what to do. And I'm like, okay, well, we can't like leave this kid here. Like we have to figure out what to do with the kid. And so then someone comes up to me and it goes, check his hip, like his front hip. And I was like, what do you mean? And they were like, just check it. And so I like checked his front hip and he had like a tattoo, like a serial number. And I was like, what does that mean? And the lady goes, that's human trafficking. Like they do this on purpose and I was like, okay, so what, like, what the fuck do I do? Like what's going on? And she's like, I don't know. Like you have to call the police. I called the police and they're like, don't bring them here. Like we don't do anything for that. Like, just leave them. And I'm like, I can't just leave them. And so then Jose and I end up taking him back to where you're staying. And like something happens. I don't really remember. It's kind of foggy at this point. And I get. Alone with this kid and I'm talking to this kid and he's like he can speak he's like five he's like just give me some like i'll just take some money and i'm like what like this is so odd And so then I like go to get money to give him money. So like I guess he could leave and I kind of looked at him and I was like, tell me the truth. Like, what is going on? Like, I feel like, you know, what's going on. Jose wasn't in the room. I just read the chapter in Frost and Starlight of when her and Reesan are talking and he asks her to kind of just go and like, guess be like an emissary and not just work with the Court of Nightmares. I guess it does kind of, it either lines it up to be

And I remember just being like, Like I was like so upset like crying and like this poor thing just like died in my hands I was so angry and Jose was so upset for me And so then we had this other kitten that was so itty bitty and we were like waking up every three hours to feed this kitten We were trying to get somebody to come and feed it Like take it. If you are in Georgia and you're trying to get a kitten like rescued, it is like the hardest thing to do because you, there's like a law that you like rescues can't come and take a cat. They have to go through the shelter. And then I call the shelter and they're like, don't bring it here. It's just going to die. And I'm like, then what the fuck am I supposed to
